What is the best way to get started?
Come out and visit us on race day. Spectating outside the pit area is free. Everyone in the pit area must have a paid pit pass for insurance purposes. This pit pass will allow you to walk around the pits and to see the karts up close. Once you have decided what class to run, it is time to find your first kart. Many racers start with used equipment, while they learn about kart racing, then sell it later and buy new equipment.
What are the ages and classes to race?
You can race 2 cycle, 4 cycle or even a shifter. Below are the primary classes run at SKRA club events.
